    Boarding

    Boarding Experience

Boarding at Ecole Bilingue is like home away from home. We have home boarding where they stay in the home of the Head of School or in a child-friendly lodging facility both in New Achimota.

All teachers and staff members participate in the care and supervision of the boarders at all times. In many ways, boarding students become very much part of a large, caring family. Boarders enjoy a structured programme of activities, study and social time.

    Boarding students' wellbeing

Students are encouraged to be responsible for the management of their own spaces and to take good care of equipment and materials provided by the school. They are expected to relate to everyone in a friendly manner and be tolerant of others. Students learn basic house chores like washing, cleaning, ironing while in the boarding school. Other grooming and personal hygiene skills are introduced to students at this stage of their development and learning.

A room is shared by 3-4 students in a full-term basis.

In the evenings and during weekends, there are a number of enriching and beneficial activities and programs undertaken. These include outings to places of interests, indoor and outdoor games. Outings are supervised by boarding teachers and transportation is provided by the school.
